Well, the health care reform bill just passed the House of Representatives. Apparently, all (and I do mean all) of the Republicans were against it, but the Democrats pushed through since they are the majority. BTW: People I've personally known who have been completely bankrupted from healthcare expenses: 3. Number who was once a millionare: 1.

Number who would have never been allowed health insurance and would have died an early death because of pre-existing conditions: 4.

People who went bankrupt and subsequently died in 'socialist' european nations last year: 0

Just some numbers.
