Straw Poll
Reasons that normal, rational people should ignore the straw poll:
- It takes place at a state fair (butter cows, anyone?)
- Tickets are $35 -- yes, you pay to vote
- …except that very few people pay: the candidates buy blocks of tickets and bus people in.

I seem to have missed this when it came out.
Sony is basing its Snap framework on GNUstep and Objective C. Interesting.
Are they thinking that some of these people writing iPhone applications will expand into widgets for Blu-Ray players and TVs?

This is probably another good time to remind you all that all of us were carrying actual assault rifles, and some of us were also carrying pistols.
