Crochet Project
I picked up crotchet for fun recently. There's many YouTube tutorial and resources and hence I decided to learn something new. I bought a crotchet set from Lazada and some yarn and that's how it all started. I shall detailed my crochet learning journey here, hopefully, it could benefit some others too.

为之何乐也 - 阿果
一年太匆匆，一年何漫长。
上周末与老友聚餐，踏入餐馆甫一就座，与友人开聊便顺手将口罩解下。点餐时友人才提醒，应该等开始用餐才取下口罩，此乃防疫规定，食客若不遵守，餐馆业者可能就得受罚。
这我倒是一时间疏忽了，乖乖又将口罩戴上，朋友间隔着口罩谈天说地，也无不便，也无隔阂。闲谈间，还研究起了彼此的口罩材质仿佛谈着无关紧要的生活琐事。
无关紧要倒不是毫不重要，而是心态上对于口罩的微妙转变。毕竟足足一年了，早已过了习不习惯的纠结。确是，转眼已是一年，这一年实属不易。想去年此时疫情的阴霾正在酝酿，离爆发仅一步之遥，该不该戴口罩尚未有个定数。之后一连串的变化接踵来袭，更是让国人措手不及。而人心之惶惶，更体现在众人抢购口罩、洁手液、卫生纸等疯狂行径上。经历了社交距离，度过了阻断措施，迈入了逐步解封 ( Read more... ) -

I have been pretty spoilt by my mother-in-law who always gave me her ready made Hakka abacus. She will steam the yam, press and shape the mixture into little round abacus beads lookalike and passed them to me and my other sister-in-law. Sometimes, she would even cooked them and gave it to me. Barcelona Part 2 - Hospital de Sant Pau & Casa Mila
Even though we knew we would not be able to get tickets into Sagrada Familiar, we still went there just to look at it from the outside. I was amazed with the line forming outside the cathedral at 9 + am in the morning! So so touristy! We took the metro from Passig de Gracia to Sagrada Familiar, it was just 3 stops away.
