Our dear neighbour Ivy passed me a big bunch of Raja bananas from her garden this morning.  She is one nice kind lady and so I decided to use it to make banana bread and shared with her.  Googled for a recipe and going to keep this so that I can refer to in future.

My birthday may have been over but it was still such a fuzzy nice feeling when my ex-colleagues were celebrating for me!  This was at the Botanica at Raffles CIty.  We were all rather surprised that the restaurant was quite full.  The food was just mediocre especially for the meat dishes but the company is wonderful as always!

Ashley was asked to compare the difference in the feature between the adult stage and the "baby" stage of an animal/insect of her choice.  She wanted to do tadpole and frog at first but I encouraged her to do silkworm and moth since we just learnt about the life cycle not too long ago.  So I prepared some notes and re-visited what we had learnt ( Read more... )

I tried making this broccoli cheese quiche from scratch and am so happy that it was successful! The girls love it! I only made one batch of short crust dough and used them twice. It was a super simple recipe. No equipment needed except hands and the tabletop.
