Other than my general enigmaticism, I might have been a little drunk.

About what happens next. And I don't know why I said "deets" ... it's possible that I'm having a midlife crisis or something. Am I at midlife yet?

Speaking of your work, and nondeadenating and such, I have to ask.

You have no right to ask me that. What's more, it's totally absurd that you'd expect an honest answer out of me.

Know what? That you guys wouldn't work out? That a leopard doesn't change his/her spots? That you married up?

Did I know what, champ?

That Cordelia was never dead.

That our child was going to be born somewhere where I could never see her, and where Cordelia can never know where she's buried.

Did you know?

If I'd known that kind of detail about what sounds like a larger operation -- let's call it Operation Punishing Orlando Bloom II: Electric Gayaloo -- I think it's safe to assume that there are forces at work that would prevent me from ever owning up to it. What purpose would my answering your question serve?

Have you considered the possiblity that Cordelia might have been playing dead to get out of your ridiculous marriage and impending parenthood? That maybe it was all an elaborate scheme to let you off the hook so you could go back to your preferred way of life?
