I think that shit has already been started. The protests that have been going on nonstop around the nation have been incredible, no one ever expects the huge turnouts that they are getting. I was downtown with the first part of the protest and the main people that were there were high schoolers! I have never been to something that was able to pull solidarity like that (though i dont know if the is solidarity considering how much their lives are likely to be affected), also the growning amount of protests from asian communities which adds to more national discussion on racism. So exciting! Plus workers rights in general is an issue that is exploding all over the world. Nothing but awesome is coming, if you ask me.

Last night as I was falling asleep, I was listening to BBC America. The host was talking to some American commentator and getting his opinion on the immigration issue- although I don't know why anyone wanted to hear from him in the first place. He represented all the people in this country that drive me batshit. He was saying that the Mexicans are taking away jobs from Americans (lord knows Mexicans can't be Americans too) who would work those jobs if they were available to them. BullFuckingShit. I kept thinking about "A Day Without a Mexican"- that was a very prophetic film, in showing what would happen if every 'illegal' Mexican were deported. I really appreciated your post. I also hope that people tear shit up. I should stop talking about it and get out there.
