i spent the evening with a gay guy. does that help? probably not. we ate chocolate and watched a couple movies. one was "across the universe" and i haaaaated it. the other was "the life aquatic" which i was introducing him to... dunno how well he liked that. anyway. yeah. if you do write this person off, i'll support you.

I kinda really do and really don't want to write her off. I mean, I worked really hard at building and maintaining a friendship with her for years. Like, literally, years. It would really be a shame to just throw all that away. On the other hand, Valentine's Day is a really big deal to me, and her behavior, when looked at from a certain point of view (mine) at the very least verges on inexcusable.

i spent my valentines doing odd jobs for my parents and then cleaned my bathroom, including the shower drain. and then i went to bed.
and i just saw across the universe yesterday and liked it. but my father, a die hard beatles fan, walked out 20 minutes into it practically gagging. so... it really does go one way or the other.
