i spent the evening with a gay guy. does that help? probably not. we ate chocolate and watched a couple movies. one was "across the universe" and i haaaaated it. the other was "the life aquatic" which i was introducing him to... dunno how well he liked that. anyway. yeah. if you do write this person off, i'll support you.

You hated across the universe? How come? I really wanted to see that but haven't quite gotten around to it. In the previews it looks a lot like a combination of Big Fish and Beatles.

I kinda really do and really don't want to write her off. I mean, I worked really hard at building and maintaining a friendship with her for years. Like, literally, years. It would really be a shame to just throw all that away. On the other hand, Valentine's Day is a really big deal to me, and her behavior, when looked at from a certain point of view (mine) at the very least verges on inexcusable.

i didn't like the story. or the dialogue. or the singing. or the acting. or the actors. i knew i wouldn't like it. my friend asked me if i'd seen the show "love" and i said i had and didn't care for it much. he said, "you're not gonna like this, i don't think."

i'd say her behavior is inexcusable. it's shitty, is what it is. i'm going to read your more recent posts now and see what the further developments are. heh.

valentines day is the happiest day of the year? christ when did that happen?

i spent my valentines doing odd jobs for my parents and then cleaned my bathroom, including the shower drain. and then i went to bed.

and i just saw across the universe yesterday and liked it. but my father, a die hard beatles fan, walked out 20 minutes into it practically gagging. so... it really does go one way or the other.
