I would be happy to talk with you about it! About half the people who work at Bumbershoot are volunteers. They also hire temporary staff, which is what I've done for the past several years. That has its upsides (you get paid!) but also its downsides (your work shift is a lot longer and you don't get to see as much).

This whole YEAR has been like that, for me..."Wait, it's March? June? SEPTEMBER?? What the hell?" Add to that that some of the things from earlier this year (SMF and Greece especially) feel like they happened YEARS ago. It's weird.

Ooh no kidding. And I just passed my 1-year anniversary at UWB and it feels like I've been there for longer.

We will get together for a beer soon. I haven't been to Georgetown in WAY too long! :-)
