I feel depressed ,iam 20 years old now and iam still living with my mom (most people in this country live with their parents till they get married) and I have no job

I am comin from the same country as you.
so some kind of had or even havin your problem I mean totally understand u!
but listen,
focus on something you have not things you don't have.
I am not a granma or a therapist but as a young person let me give you some advise.
Do focus on what you have give yourself a 20 minute and fast without thinkin' start makin of what you have and u R gratitude for like
1. your engish so fluent
2. university student
3. havin the opprtunity to be in other city takin care of ur own staff.
4. Beautiful (if it is a real pic ;)
you can probably go more since you know yourself much better
don't think u've wasted ur life since there is no waste in the universe law.
since it is a comment and just today i become a member of this site I don't know will you read this or not but hope this is helpfull for you.

Anyway, I'm Iranian myself and live in Dubai, but I dont living with your mother is a "bad" thing. Unlike people from the west, we always live with our parents until we get married, even guys. I am 25 and I still live in my parents home.

Dont get depressed! When will you finish your studies? Things in the next couple of years might be good for Iran tourism and you will be in a good position.

hi yes u can add me and i didnt say living with my mom is bad i just sometimes need some space thats all .in two years i will finish my education well i hope to find a good job and it was great to find another iranian here

I know what you mean though about space. I keep wanting to get my own place, but i live in Dubai and rooms are so expensive that I dont want to pay most of my salary just to live alone.

ANd I'm hoping you will find a good job. Really, things might be better for Iran in the next few years.

Hi! I just added you to my friends and wish to intoduce myself. I'm a Russian girl, married to Iranian, and I'm interested in everything connected to Iran (actually I published a book about it :) I spend 3 months in Tehran and 3 in Moscow, and naturally I wish to have more iranian friends. Man farsi baladam, amma kheili khub balad nistam :) Unfortunately, my journal is in Russia, but I try to publish many photos there, so hopefully it's be interesting for you too!

P.S.^ You don't have any reason to feel depressed - I was just in the same situation when I was 20, but just in a year or two everything changed considerably, it's just the matter of your own wish.
