I assume everyone remembers when I posted that San Franscico is going to vote whether or not to name a sewage plant after George Bush.

Well, SuperPoke (the application on Facebook) has added a poke called "name a sewage plant after".

Also hilarious.

I wonder what Bush's legacy is going to sound like in textbooks and history books.

You're rooming with a good friend. Do you introduce her as your friend or your roommate and what about vice versa? I got upset because of being introduced as roommate instead of friend or best friend. Trying to figure out how stupid I was.

Hm, never thought about it. I think it depends what we're talking about and who we're talking to. We've both called each other roommates, but we've also refered to the other as a friend too. If I say a friend than it could be a lot of people and not my roommate friend. And some people don't know Liz so if I say her name they don't realize she's my roommate. I've never had a roommate that didn't at least turn out to be a good friend. I've never had a roommate that wasn't my friend. I think it would be different if I tended to room with people that weren't my friend. Liz and I aren't picky about stuff like that though. I guess it depends on what you think of as a roommate. I know not everyone is close to their roommate(s), but I think of a roommate as being pretty close to me. I mean, you see the person all the time so if you get along really well then you're going to be a lot closer to him or her than your other friends. I can see why it might bother you and other people though.
