I'm busy processing a bunch of denials at work. It is kind of depressing when you see people with 3.9 GPAs and amazing GRE scores and they get rejected from a program. I mean, some people are stupid and don't submit all the application materials and I don't have a problem denying them (in fact, I think we give these applicants too many chances ( Read more... )

This is not important, but I am going to mark the day with a post.

My student loan repayment began yesterday. Here's to joining the rest of college grads (w/loans) who will be repaying loans for at least the next 10 years.

Yay. Except not really.

I went through almost the whole day thinking it was Wednesday. I just realized a few minutes ago it was Tuesday. Made me want to cry.

Dear God, Please make the weekend come faster? Kthanksbye.

I'm down in Raleigh for Labor Day weekend. Mostly, just to pick up my car. Also, to upgrade my phone since it's dying. I have to pick up my new phone just outside of Richmond at the 85/95 junction b/c they were out of the one I wanted here in Raleigh, but it's worth it. I watch CNN every morning. It's not my favorite way to get the news, but it's fast and annoys me the least of the news stations that are available with the cable we get. I assume everyone remembers when I posted that San Franscico is going to vote whether or not to name a sewage plant after George Bush.

Well, SuperPoke (the application on Facebook) has added a poke called "name a sewage plant after".
