After almost a year of stomach pain, joint paint, extreme lack of energy and other symptoms, Scott ended up having a liver biopsy which showed he has hemochromatosis. He's also been experiencing other common symptoms of this such as memory problems and irregular heartbeat ( Read more... )

The “mass” in his brain is a liquid filled cyst that has not grown in size, so no surgery needed. The doctor did not think it is the cause of his symptoms (numbness on his right side, migraines, or drooling). So on the one hand “yay he doesn’t need brain surgery” but on the other hand, we are back to having no idea what is causing his problems. :(

Recently, I went to SuperCuts and got the majority of my hair cut off, we didn't measure, but we're guessing about 7 or 8 inches removed. I could really notice the white/silver hairs a lot worse afterward, but so far everyone I mentioned it to says it's not as bad as I think. Regardless, my hair got dyed for the first time at age 38. We went to the Humane Society in Prineville, Oregon today and picked up our newest family member: kitty # 4 who was named Bamboo in their records. We changed her name to Hoshi (after a character on the TV show Star Trek Enterprise). It's pronounced Ho-shee.

After 2 trips to the repair shop and $903 in repair bills and parts, I now have a working car again. (thank you for your help Scott.)

I recently switched from a bank to a credit union and I was able to order a custom photo on my debit card... this is a sample of what it will look like with my cat Phoebe on it.
