During lunch today at In-N-Out Burger, I had a craving for root beer.  But when I brought my cup to the self-serve fountain drink dispenser, I was disappointed to find that all they had was Barq's.  I really dislike Barq's... its high carbonation and metallic bitter taste makes me feel like someone dropped a 9-volt battery into my soda, or

Unfortunately the nearest Culver's is a 12-hour drive away, in Phoenix AZ. There aren't any in California.

We do however, have many brewery chain restaurants that do their own root beer... I like BJ's Restaurant's a lot.  It seems there's one near Indianapolis!  Ever tried it?

A&W is by far the best, especially from their outlets.

But now I just have a hankering for a double double animal style!
