As long as a food doesn't contain organs, I'm up for trying anything at least once, if only just to say "I've tried that... I don't like it."

I had some the other week. I thought it tasted more like a dog treat..which ironically I do not like the taste of.

I can imagine that it indeed does taste like a dog treat... even though I have never actually eaten a dog treat.

That is the... distilled essence of disapproval.

BTW, the "Korean style chicken nuggets" you can get in this fusion place in the Mall of America aren't really in the style of Korea.

I'm at a loss to envision what "Korean style chicken nuggets" would be!  Covered in spicy sauce and wrapped in lettuce?

No, in this case they were battered somehow and in some sort of spicy (for minnesota) sauce involving chile and miso.

Where what they should have used is gochujang.

I'm seriously saving up for a trip to Korea to Eat Fewds.

One of my favorite restaurants is a Korean place that's both all-you-can-eat AND cook-at-your-table.  You pick up the various pre-marinated raw meats at the buffet tables and cook it exactly how you want it -- and there's plenty of assorted hot and cold sides available to keep your stomach occupied while you tend to your entree.

I'm overdue for a visit, and considered going for my birthday... however I've got a serious craving for beef wellington that needs to be satisfied!
