My mom talks to me about college. Nonstop. I've been hearing about college since my eigth grade or freshman year. I can't remember. I've known I would be going to ESU since my sophmore year. It wasn't even a question

I think it's a mom thing. My mom decided I was going to be a music education major in 6th grade Around 7th or 8th grade was when it was decided I would go to IU to major in thus...
annnnnd now i'm changing majors and probably transferring...lol ooooh moms
My dad... well, he didn't tell me what I was going to be. I just, went, "Chemistry" and then he freaked when I said "Biochem" and he got even more worried when I said "German" because it's... well, it was a big jump. I'm pretty sure I don't even want to go here. But. Well, the good news is, I can go to a cheaper school and he'll probably go "OH, GOOD!"
The other good news is that a lot of the state schools have good teaching programs, and they're cheaper. Yeah. Good.
The other thing that bugs me are the looks I get when I tell people I've changed from biochem to german. Jill thinks it's great, she goes "Biochem... to GERMAN" when she tells her friends. She makes me sound like I"m indecisive and really have no idea what I'm doing.
No, I've known all along. The whole time I was looking for a science school because I told myself it was what I wanted, but I was also like "Well, they don't have a German program, not going there." So. It's not that surprising to the people who've known me long enough.
