Gwen was just waiting for one thing to be okay. To wake up in the morning with a smile or fall asleep without tears. She hoped that maybe tomorrow would be the day for good things.

It is always a strange experience to turn around in a grocery store, see an old friend, and nearly blurt out "Hey, I took your virginity."

Glad I didn't say it considering that he was with someone who could only be a significant other.

Life in my hometown sucks.

Sitting at home on a Saturday night. Half naked. In bed watching CSI: New York reruns. Wondering which version of her boyfriend will come home from work. Hungry for both dinner and affection. In 24 hours I will be cruising through Pennsylvania and on my way toward a much brighter future far, far away from my roommate.

I'm heading home tomorrow. Collect my thoughts. Apply to writing programs. Pick up a part time job.

'm not going to lie. I cried when I saw my apartment. Mold in the window sills. When the landlord was fixing a leak under the kitchen sink, a cat ran out of a hole in the wall.
