I am really starting to love it out here in California. The job is great and I'm having so much fun with it. I haven't felt like this about hockey, my own hockey, in a long time. I didn't think I would like it so much but I am starting to like California.  San Jose is a great place and it kind of does remind me of Tampa.  Not that anything would replace there but you know what I mean.  So far so good on the surfing and I'm glad I've got a bit more time to try that out before it becomes TOO dangerous ( Read more... )

So it seems I might have a job in San Jose when we get there.  Nothing's completely final yet but if it does work out, it could be a great thing.  I'll know more later.  For now, just enjoying the summer until we HAVE to do more than anything of that.

I suppose once we go to California, I'll have to start wearing clothes :)

I don't know what to say.  I've always said that it didn't matter where Luc played just that he played and was happy but I won't lie that this one is hard.  We love Tampa.  There's so much history for us here and it's just special.  Plus, I got the coaching offer and now, I just don't know ( Read more... )

So it looks like the job is a go.  As of August 14th, I'm going to be the goalie coach for the Tampa Bay Wave, a major junior hockey team down here.  I'm still sort of in shock about all of this, but fuck I'm so excited too.  For now I can play nurse maid to those people still recovering and needed assistance of any kind ( Read more... )
