Thanks! Yeah, been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, etc etc. It's not the pain so much as it is the inertia I have to overcome. Sitting is so much easier. Heh.
After spending so much time with my nose glued to spreadsheets, I must say, I was awfully grateful for any excuse to move about a little ;-). Sitting may be easy, but at work? Not for me it isn't..
But the "getting your ass up and out" is a hard one indeed. Maybe you can find - or found - a little walking group? That way you'll be too mean to each other for anyone risking a missed day :-p.
Not yet. We'll see. The biggest probem, of course, is that I'm only here for a month, then I have to figure out what I'm going to do in my next location. And, of course, it will be a whole new group of people.
And yeah, I can get up and around a bit, but it's not exercise so much as a chance to stretch out, which you need to do every hour or two to keep from getting clots in your blood. Nothing like a little thrombosis to ruin your day.

Keep up the good work :-).
Says she who'll suffer from sore muscles all week - I know how it hurts to start something like this...
But it does get better, promise :-D.
