I taught a rocking class today, which I greatly enjoyed.
and I read A Vindication of the Rights of Woman today. Which I enjoyed, though perhaps not 'greatly'.  And things are fine.

On the upside, I ordered 18 books that I need to read between now and the end of April, and they're a very substantial part of my list, and I need to own them. And several times I chose the more expensive edition (i.e. Broadview rather than World's Classics) so that I have the scholarly edition for work.

have caught plague from plaguemonkeyboyfriend.
Mine involves temperatures and feeling like I'm going to be sick.  On the upside, Tom is getting better just in time to look after me...

I'm back in Wolves with Tom. He has manflu. It's amazing he's even alive.   Actually, he's miserably ill. Poor boy.  My Dad sent him (well, us) a medicinal bottle of port. 2000 is a very enjoyable vintage! Yay!
I am dosing him with .. pretty much everything.
Kill or cure, it's the only way !

Peter Pan was, and is, my very favourite book.
And Mum has just given me the new sequel, Peter Pan in Scarlet. I had mixed feelings,  when I heard someone was going to write one. Then I forgot about it all together.

Twenty seven pages in, it's heavenly.

I am 27. "Oh no!" you cry. "This blog contains only the youthful conjunctions and sprightly sentences of a much younger woman!" 
But it is true - I am 27, and I can't say that I miss being 23 at all.
