Well my hopes of not being stuck here were answered, as I recieved a call not 10 minutes ago informing me that I have a flight heading out on Saturday. I'm to be at the Event Center at 8:30 in the morning with all my belongings, where they will hand me my finalized passport, Military I.D., and fit/issue me my helmet and bullet proof vest ( Read more... )

Well.., all is said, done and completely finalized. Got my Military I.D. done today, thats the very last thing I had to do. Now all I do from day to day is laze around as I choose, and attend the 5:30 p.m. update meetings we have here to see if we were scheduled a flight ( Read more... )

Ended up running up north to pick up the spot bike after all. It's a red/white 2001 Honda CBR 600 F4i.. Seems to be in good condition. Chain needs replaced and tuned, and the suspension needs tuned for Chris badly.. He's just to big to fit the bike properly as it sits. Its tuned just slightly stiff for me and I'm 132-lbs.., while Chris is a big boy ( Read more... )

Well... arrived on Sunday Feb 13th, and survived the hell of orientation and processing thus far. Finally got my laptop issued today... Is'nt the greatest piece of equipment in the world by any means, but I suppose the goal in this issue was functionality rather then a gaming masterpiece..
