Oh lucky, I wish my parents were into cool foreign places like that. The most foreign we get is the Hamptons, haha.

Those are some awesome authors. If you're looking for a cool true story that's not quite a work of literature but still awesome, check out the book Dove, by Robin Lee Graham. It's a true story about his life, about how he left at the age of 16 to sail around the world, became the youngest person to circle the globe by boat, met his love, a girl from California, on the Fiji Islands, etc. It's this really adventurous, romantic and true story, so cool. For more literature-y books, I'm reading Sons and Lovers, by D.H. Lawrence right now, which is really good. Also, a good but shorter story is The Awakening, by Kate Chopin, about a woman who wants more out of life than the husband she has now, wants love, etc. It's a great, feminist book.
