Is there truly none here who actually enjoyed going to battle and having a change from the utter tedium of this place?

I found it most satisfying, but you humans sure do seem to keep on sinking to new lows.

I suppose the reason for that fighting doesn't matter much in your mind then.

Why should I care what the reason is as long as I can satisfy my need for bloodshed?

Pride. Considering your comment, however, I'd question if you had any.

I have more than enough, but unlike a human I don't care what the reasons are behind a battle, merely that I get to do battle.

[Because seriously, if the Third Party offered a chance to fight the Malnosso he'd take that just as readily as the Malnosso giving a chance to fight the Third Party. Either way it is bloodshed and better than utter tedium.]

Hmm? If you aren't a human, then what are you?

[If they were in person, Loki would be able to tell himself... But for better or worse, this isn't the case.]

[A filter isn't going to get an answer from the demon right off.]

All that needs to be known is that I am no weak and pathetic human.

[Loki partakes in a healthily sized sundae while he waits. ♥]

The self-confident sort, I see.

[Hopefully it is a large one, because Loki will be waiting a long time.]

Far better than incessant whining.

[...Being able to do fight again, at full strength and killing the enemy for once? Of course he got some satisfaction from it, but going public about that might ruin his general positive reputation here.]

Actively doing something for once was a nice change. Although the results are left to be desired...

[The lack of complaints and actually finding fighting a nice change makes Yuber curious about Alexei here, so he'll be actually decent and add in a filter.]

What about the results were bad? I found it most satisfying up until the abrupt departure.

[Because while the demon knows humans are weak, it was also poor tactics on the part of Miss bitchy Commandant that lost the battle.]

We gained nothing in the end.

[He's pauses, eyeing the filter Yuber had placed for a moment.]

Had we actually made progress, it would have been far more satisfying.

If we return we know far more about the territory now. The Malnosso just seem determined to make this war of theirs fail.

[oh wow you're an ass 8| ]

Fighting is not in human nature. Nature can't be put at fault.

[And proud of it too.]

It is a part of human nature. Humans merely feel a need to suppress that part and their denial of it makes them weak.

man I hope you get your ass kicked by some ten-year-olds or something that would be fantastic]

It is not.

What do you get from harassing them like this?

Just because humans wish to deny they are a part of nature does not mean they are not. A creature that is unwilling to defend itself is prey. It is not something a human is above.

[Humans, huh? You are officially on Hellboy's radar. Again.]

Something like that can rattle a person if they're not used to it. Nothing "low" about it.

[Oh hey there pathetic demon. He didn't know you were back.]

These drafts aren't stopping. They had better get used to it and stop complaining.

It's called coping. People do that sometimes.

They do it very poorly from the looks of things. But what else can I expect from such weak creatures?
