No this is not some commentary on McDonalds! It is currently 38F in Miami with a wind chill in the 20's. I am loving this weather! In fact I am planning on heading out to Naples today and tomorrow for some hiking along Alligator Alley and the Everglades!!! -
Randomness
I just finished watching what I believe to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen, Sahara. I had not heard a lot of fantastic things about the movie but I don't usually listen to critics anyway. Alaska
Well, I am back from Alaska. It was amazing! I spent 3days in Anchorage, shopping, sightseeing, taking it easy. Then I headed down to Seward. I left early so I could see the sights along the drive--The Seward Highway has amazing wildlife and sights, but alas it was raining the whole way down. Well, this is my last night on overtime. The outage is over so no need to be staffed at night. It also happend to be the night before I am off. So that is making the night drag. I leave on vacation on Saturday so the extra days off will give me a chance to get all my crap ready ( Read more... ) -
money in money out
I guess with all this overtime and spending for vacation I am just in a spending mood. My sights are now set on a new computer. Well actually it will not replace my current computer, it will be for travelling with and just a fun little addition. It is an Asus eeepc. If you aren't familiar with it, it quite neat. 1 Week, 4 days, 6 hours
Till vacation. Not that I am counting or anything! Still working nights. I really kinda like it--just not the 6 days a week part. At least the credit cards will be paid off at the end of it.

Well, I kinda stopped writing real quick didn't I? I had intended to write some the next night but unfortunetly we got really busy in a very bad way. The department I work for is trained to be first responders at the plant. Well, actually they teah us CPR and first aid in about 6 hours. animals on talk shows
OK, so I am an animal person, no surprise. So anytime I happen to be home to watch talk shows and animals are on I watch. Well I am about to stop that I think. It seems everytime animals are on these shows the whole point of the segment is "lets see how much of an idiot ,I the host ,can make of myself and the animals by screaming, acting stupid ( Read more... ) -
