I decided to look up this guy, since i see him quoted everywhere nowadays, and it's always the same quote. Did he say anything else? Come to think of it, who is he? The best resource i could find online was this, an admittedly unsure reference. How was Father O'Brien decorated? Was his family rich, or poor, or foreign? Did he go into politics? Did he become a televangelist? Was he committed to an asylum? Was he secretly female?

Sorry, searching fruitlessly for half an hour gets me irritated. Just link me to a biography somewhere; curiosity dies a slow and painful death if not quenched.
