Lonesomeness
I have been reminded over the past several days how much harder it feels to miss people who are alive than to miss people who are dead. The dead people can't really help that they're not a part of your life anymore. With the live people, you have to live with the knowledge that they're choosing not to be a part of your life. -

I haven't done many real vacations since my childhood.
