Some photos of the new reef tank... I picked up a crapload of corals yesterday at the PSAS's annual Bob Moore memorial frag swap and sale. I got 3 free corals in the raffle(everyone got a ticket, they drew tickets, and you got to go up in that order to pick your coral from the tanks... And repeated until everything was gone. Most people got 2-3).

Awesomeeeeeee! Sugar says she's very jealous! I dig the red mushroom guy (looks like Ricordia) I wish we could get decent corals/inverts here. :(

Red mushroom guy, red mushroom guy. Which one would that be? The only mushroom I have is the big purple rhodactis... And I have alot of red so dunno which one you might be referring to. lol. Maybe the Acan? The reddish one with white stripes? I picked that one up last night from cherry corals... He usually sells frags like that for like 100 bucks, but he was selling stuff for WAAAYY cheaper, so I got it for 50. SO happy.

Yep the Acan, love that guy! :) Niiiiiice, how big is it, looks like 3" across?

Hawaii, Oahu. The fish store usually don't have many frags and when they do they're sad and overpriced. My buddy did give us a ton of mushrooms, so far that's the only coral we have.

So do they grow to eventually cover the little disks they are on, I know nothing about marine tanks.. at all.
