My holiday season/break started on Thursday when a visiting proof. in the School of Education took me out to lunch to my favorite restaurants Zinnia. Typically I order seafood dish (which is what they are known for.) but, Grilled chicken with apple and mango salsa caught my eye. My X-mas present from Work came a bit early.
Yesterday I got my new baby from work. Mac book Pro Intel 2.6ghz, 2MB of RAM, Super drive, 130HD. We’ve had freezing rain, and snow here in STL for the past 2 days so I had left work early (the campus actually closed at 3). To get home before the weather got too bad. T-day, new beer and other stuff
Had a pretty good t-day. It was at the rents house this year and pretty small basically just the imidate family plus my cousin Laura and my sister’s friends from Germany (they are actually living in Chicago as Andres is currently part of an exchange program with Northwestern) so it was nice that things weren’t incredibly crazy and for the most part ( Read more... ) -

It’s been great to have this week off, and I’m not looking forward to going back to the madness at work although now that the accreditation is over things will hopefully slow down. just 2 weeks left of craziness
Just 2 more weeks of madness at work and then It’s all over. ---Thank god. I’ll be glad for things to return to normal or somewhat normal for awhile. It will also be nice to have a long period of time off. I haven’t take more than 2 days off in awhile and it’s long over due. works crazy, Windows vista is cool, but no Mac OS X
Works been insane these past few weeks with the School of Ed getting closer to their big NCATE/DESE accreditation. Hopefully I can just get though the next month and then this big drama will finally be over but everyone has been on edge lately and most likely won’t let up until the accreditation is over. I adopted another black lab about 3 weeks ago. She’s a lab sheepdog mix, 4 months old (she was 3 when I got her.) I named her Harley. I’ll try and post pics soon ( Read more... )
