I am currently doing an internship with the Student Animal Rights Alliance and they are having several upcoming conferences including a national conference in Berkeley, California. I will more than likely be attending the one in Berkeley and the conferences are pretty awesome so check them out!

I watched the Democratic Convention last night on PBS. Convention goers always look like they're having so much fun. Surprisingly, I think that former president Jimmy Carter gave the best, most compelling speech of the night (although after Hillary spoke I decided to go to bed). One listing reads as Dr. Suess the Cat in the Hat - If only Dr. Seuss wasn't dead this could and should have been a reality.

I am gainfully employed! This event occurred on Thursday, Jan. 15th. Last night I watched a show on PBS entitled the Great American Songbook. The two hour show provides a truncated history of song in American movies from the 1930's-50s. It reinforced my love for movie musicals, Ethel Merman and my hatred for Cole Porter.
