I'm so confused about my emotions. I know I love Carl and I know I want to be with him. All we do is fight. I don't know whether I should be alone and figure things out till he gets here or stay with him and try to work through it. I'm so confused. Everytime I try to leave, he makes me feel guilty and talks about killing himself. I hate this. Why

Hey hun, I don't want to stir in any more negative thoughts about your situation, but it is sort of sounding like a "control" issue on his part to me. Every time you try to leave, he reels you back in by making you feel guilty. That, in its own right, isn't good. You should take a sort of vacation from him, straighten out your emotions and how you stand on things, then try talking to him again. Talking, not fighting, is the key thing.
