After 13 hours of labor, Elizabeth Catherine Purvis was born via cesarean section at 11:13PM on December 24, 2009. 8lbs 12oz, 21 inches long. Full head of hair too!

She and I both had high fevers that broke this morning. She is still in the NICU for another day or so. Provided everything goes well, we both will be coming home on Sunday.

So Bill & I headed out to the doctor's for my check up. Once I get called into the exam room, the nurse asks if I want Bill in there. I was like "sure, it isn't like he hasn't seen all this before". The past 2 weeks as the new Pet Care Manager have been interesting. I'm enjoying the job and the people I work with. I am sure I turn a few shades of red when someone gives me a compliment about how good a manager I am. I am not use to hearing that.
