Excellent. I must leave this place soon. The empty house in Ruston is becoming a beacon of light and happiness in my mind. Fortunately, my parents are mostly leaving me alone at this point, and I have been able to put off my brother's constant requests to join him in various activities. It's a little sad, actually, that it's so painful for me to spend time with him. But we have little in common and I have no interest in any of the things that he likes to do around here. And I really don't mind spending time with him and just shooting the breeze, except he always wants to bring his dumbass friends along, and I'd rather crawl into a woodchipper than spend another minute around any of them. We were going to go to the casino in Shreveport and play in a card tournament Thursday night but he decided he didn't want to go for some reason
