Entergy just released a map listing who would be getting power back in what time frame. The map is rather crude, with blocks represented by big red - erm, blocks. For most people I'm sure the crudeness of the map doesn't matter. But my house is right on the edge - either within or just outside one of those blocks. Update, since Neil and Sherry cannot post - they are weathering the post-storm. Neil went and got a generator and some gas today, so they have a working AC; and they have plenty of food and water. They had a couple of broken windows and a fist-sized hole in the roof but their house is secure and their yard is debris-free and looking great. ( Read more... )
