It's really starting to feel like the end. My suitcases are packed to the point of exploding, and I will be wearing my enormous down jacket and hiking boots on the plane for lack of any other way to bring them home. All the photos and notes are down from the walls in my and Charlotte's room so it looks sad and empty, and, worst of all, Lea and Kim

It has been wonderful keeping up with your adventures in the arctic circle. Polar bears, frostbite, reindeer blood pancakes, and the wonder that only being buried alive in snow can bring, are all such rare occurrences here in Davis. Although we do have chocolate fondue. . .and I will admit to a recurring fantasy of being buried alive in that. Everytime we dip a strawberry or a banana, Blair, we think of you and wish you were here. So please continue writing for the rest of us, because we miss you desperately, and need to know how/what you are doing.
