It is interesting how adversity will bring out the best and the worst in us. The SCA lawsuit settlement is a done deal. I am certain that everyone involved (from the SCA) tried to do the absolute best thing for the SCA. The BoD members and officers involved that I know personally are amazing folks that care immensely about this thing of ours.

Yeah, Emerson's time as Seneschal made us privy to more that we would ever want to know. Sad what a human can do.
18% assessment is survivable for most every group, and I saw that Drachenwald has already volunteered to donate an equivalent amount as well. That teaches me that it is also joyful, what a human can do.
