Blaise has asked me to establish a few ground rules, and I had no choice but to oblige him.

Are fic and art creations separate? I mean, will there be a claiming phase for artists to create complementary fanworks for the fics, or are artists just meant to create their own artwork on their own, and there will be no matchups?

I hadn't planned on there being match-ups, no. If an author and artists want to work together on a piece, I would be completely open to setting that up, though.

Okay, thanks for the explanation. I'll be pimping this on hp_diversity once sign-ups open.

Can threesomes (of any rating) but permitted? Or is it strictly a two person gig?

Edit: Also, do I have to prompt to claim or can I claim something without prompting?

Oh my dear, you've just won a little piece of my heart. Threesome to your heart's content! And there is no prompting (although I can provide you with one if you want). You just fill out the form for fic or art and write/draw what you like, as long as Blaise is the main focus.

Ooh, yay! Isn't that just lovely. I always think Blaise is the 'more-the-merrier' type.

Is there somewhere I can send a link privately to give you an idea of the type of story I'm interested in writing?

Heee! How did I know you would ask that. I didn't ask though, I just signed up, lol!

Hello! I have some question.
I hope I can explain myself, english isn't my first language, so... sorry for my mistake!

1- There is a deadline for sign-ups? I have look for it, but I haven't found it.

2 - The "Hill or Mountain" category, what does it mean? It's a geographic aspect of place or there is another mean? (well, I know, it's a stupid question, but I have recently learn that "fall" isn't only the verb "to fall" but colud meand "autumn" too, so I want to be sure...)

3 - We have to send the sing-up form to your e-mail address?

There is no deadline. If you can write/make it before the submission deadline, you can sign up to do so.

The hill or mountain are just labels for the different oroject sizes. It's meant to be clever, but isn't literal.

You sign up by replying (commenting) to the sign-up post with the completed form for either fic or art. Please do not email the form to me.

Does that answer your questions?

This is the mod, by the way. I'm replying from my tablet and haven't figured out how to switch to the mod journal from my personal journal yet.

I'm sorry, I didn't receive the notification of your reply, I've seen this only now. -_-'

Ehm... well, I'm sorry but can I have some example for the sizes? I have partecipated to some contest, but I've never run into a rule like this. XDDDDDDD

To quote the rules directly: for writing,"Hills are required to be 5,000 words or more. Mountains are required to be 10,000 words or more." So writing hills should be between 5,000 and 9,999 words, while mountains can be anything above 10,000 words long.

for artwork: "Hills should represent approximately a week's work. Mountains should represent approximately two week's work." What one or two week's worth of work means is up to the discretion of the artist, although I would have to return anything that isn't at least a step or two above stick figures.

Does that help?
