Don't tell me, let me guess: the entire building has to be a single service provider. Yeah, that is bullshit, especially if you were not notified about the change in advance. And doubly bullshit for not letting you have a choice of providers.
I am currently pissed at the rest of the condo board here for not letting Verizon wire the complex for free so residents would have a choice between Comcast and Verizon broadband (right now, Comcast is the only choice).
When I move, It's going to be out of cali.. I'm tired of cali. All the crime and the smog and everything needing to be NOW NOW NOW kind of attitude. I like the back east attitudes of being mellow and halfway laid back.
I have no idea where I'll be moving yet though.. have to do the research to find a job and a place etc...

We'd love you in Florida. No tech jobs, sad to say, and the local Republicans and Christian Right run everything. On the other hand, there's good honest barbecue, tourists are a constant amusement and the air is relatively fresh from the rainstorms and hurricanes blowing through. And seeing the lame-o's that they have in Florida's science fiction clubs, with a little eccentric behavior you'd be a star.

Um...to be honest, that's not really enough to cast a show with :( hell, I have 796 up and I still have the occasional rebuf issue.
I would suggest going apartment-hunting, to be perfectly honest.
