2019 really kicked my ass, after not working for almost all of 2018. I got what was supposed to be a 6 month contract-to-hire job in mid-Nov 2018. Based on that, I started paying down my high credit card balances. In Feb 2019, the company cut off my contract with no notice at the 3 month mark, leaving me in a bad financial situation. Well, the decision to stay or go from my job has been made for me, I was laid off last Thursday. Right now, I am focusing on moving my doctors and dentist appointments up into January so I can do them before my health care coverage expires at the end of the month. I am glad that 2015 is over. It was a year of mistakes. I didn't quit my job when I should have, and when I did finally turn in my notice in October, I got talked into staying there for another six months.
