Austin people CANNOT drive!

Austin drivers are getting more and more insane, I swear! I was just driving to Walgreen's to get some allergy meds and was cut off big time by another car. I'm still a little shaken up. I was driving down the feeder/access road of 183 going the speed limit 55mph, when a car exiting from 183 going at least 70mph swerves directly in front of me to ( Read more... )

Yeah, I remember you posting something that he wrote about drivers. It was an amusing read at the moment, but he is right, drivers are insane! It's no fun being stressed over bad drivers. I was cut off driving home from petsmart again today! Grrrr.

Yikes! I'm so glad you had that inch in between! I really need to get my brakes replaced. Probably my tires, too, but the brakes are first on the list. I was supposed to get them done yesterday, but I wasn't feeling well and the friend that offered to do them had to take his daughter back to her mom's.

Aha! Another connection in the sickness thing. The first time I got sick, I was supposed to take my car to him to fix the serpentine belt. So, I must remember never to go to Papadeux, plan to have my car worked on, and meet Sioux in the same week. Obviously, that's a really bad combination!

How strange that all three of those things aligned in the same week the two times I've been sick. I'll have to tell Sioux it's not her fault ;).

Hehe, maybe someday the two of you will meet. No more pappadeaux's or car fixing for you! Well maybe you should have the brakes fixed, that could come in handy!

I think it's universal.... Nobody other than ourseves, of course, can drive in the rain! And i think it should be alot more difficult to get a drivers license than it is!

Oh and....
THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU for being my secret pal! I got the last package yesterday and mmmmmmmmmm.....Lornas Laces.....*drool* That pink yarn is to become a stuft toy of some kind thoug i'm not quite sure what yet. i just got a super book, Toys to Knit by Tracy Chapman (not the "i'll geta fast car..." Tracy Chapman though) and i will use that sparkly yarn for something for Gigi. Oh and she is actually playing with her Pony right now! She loved it! Thank you for being so kind in thinking of her too.

Oh yeah and...You're dog is so adorable! I just want to steal him! Ok, so not really but he sure is damn cute!

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! I love putting gifts together for people. I'm still waiting to find out who my secret pal is, and hoping she's ok because I haven't heard from her in awhile. Hope you guys had a blast with Gigi's birthday, she certainly is a smiley little princess! Oh, and if you decide on a project for the horribly awful wonderful sparkley pink yarn that requires more than you have, I have 3 more skeins I think. Feel free to let me know if you need another.
