Yesterday we went to the Sherman gardens in Corona Del Mar. It's a lovely little botanical garden and even though it's Fall, there were plenty of beautiful blooming flowers.

This isn't a pattern, so much as a recipe. There's a little super simple math, a textural stitch pattern and the rest is up to you. I have made several of these scarves and no two come out the same. Weds was Gigi's first day of kindergarten. Although Jeff and I did the best we could to hype it up she wasn't very excited. Sunday we went to an Angels game with Jeff's company. They bought a block of seats and invited everybody and thier families. We had an extra ticket so we took Granspa along. It was Gigi and Grandpa Don's first time at a baseball game.
