New Open Cola Flavor!

I've wanted to try to make a bubble gum flavor open cola for a long time. i finally last night got a chance to make it. overthesun, the master carbinator, is still recovering from having his apendix removed, so he just told palindromeg33k and i what to do. Bubble gum sounds excellent! I look forward to trying some bubble gum open cola at ConVersation.

I was always a fan of Jones Soda and their bubble gum soda. Definitely needs color of some sort... clear is just not aesthetically pleasing to me personally. Now Pink or Blue... now we're talkin bubble gum!

shoot, i didn't know jones already had bubblegum. well, ours is cheaper (: i have the sryup left over and i have some blue food coloring. i think i'll play with it. just wish i had a way of carbonating at my house.

Yep Jones Soda even has cans of Whoopass!

I think a old fashioned pink might be fun to get a hot pink colored liquid that did not evoke memories of Pepto-Bismo is probably challenging! Now that I mention it blue probably is a better choice. Hehehe

After sitting in on the Open Cola panel at Penguicon I've learned there is an art to it.

As long as the flavor is there, blue or pink I'll have a drink!

i LOVE the taste of peptop bismo!!!! me and chuck are SO making that flavor. i think it's actally winter green flavor.

It really was quite good. Chuck really enjoyed doing something even moderately productive, too. Plus the opportunity to hang out with good friends is always welcome. :-)

P.S. I'm all for the blue, next time.

that we made it or that it was good? i had some syrup and gave some to my cousins. they loved it even flat.

Sounds delicious. And probably not sugar-free which would leave me out of the enjoyment. Does anyone do diet Open Cola?

Chuck had diet open cola at PenguiCon. If there is enough demand, we may be able to do one keg of diet for Coversation, but that's up to Bill and Chuck.
