Sounds boarderline Existentialist, kinda like 'we are all one in the same'. I agree though, it always sounds strange when i hear the phrase 'i found Jesus, or Josh just found God last week'. God/Jesus/TheHolySpirit isn't hiding, but I do think we have to make an active/conscious decision to give him our theoretical 'box'.
I think the problem stems from our reliance on emotions and feelings. When we don't feel God, it doesn't seem like he is there. If we have an objective outlook on our faith, we would realize our emotions have no bearance on God's presence or plan, but are merely used by Satan and God to move us in their representative directions like sheep.
