worst. semester. ever.

way too much bad stuff has happened to too many people. people I know, and people I don't. it just seems like everyone is miserable. I just want happiness. that was depressing...

So at work I usually answer the phone in this manner:

"Thank you for calling Finale at Park Plaza, this is Mike, how can I help you?"

so yesterday the phone rings, I pick it up, say that little phrase, and this is what the woman on the other end says:

her: "Is this Finale?"
me: "yes"
her: "The one at Park Plaza?"
me: "yes..."
her: ok thank you!

Obviously, this is a great cause and something my fraternity is really dedicated to. So if you can give anything, even $2, that would be awesome.

I just got an extremely important letter. It is my acceptance letter to the Los Angeles program for the Spring of 2007. I also recieved a letter with my acceptance to the Castle program for Fall 2006 (for non-emerson, thats the study abroad program in Europe). Well I'm back here in the city, after a fun-filled road trip. New Orleans smelled bad, and the south is extremely hot. I finally made it to Memphis, although Graceland was closed.
