This was obviously not Sternbild and he had to figure out what was going on and why he was no longer in his chamber dungeon... He also needed to find a change of clothes because nobody could

[Now... that's a voice he hasn't heard in a while. Thankfully though, since every time he does, he pays out of his pockets for it. That aside, this time the voice of one Yuri Petrov isn't followed by the smack of a gavel against wood, and so he can breath a little easier.

That isn't to say that he's breathing easy, though. Confronting the man off duty would surely be strange as well, but it's his duty to at least say something. He'd like to think the man would do the same for him, in any case.]

Umm. Judge... Petrov? [There's a bit of uneasy laughter, followed by a slightly hesitant:] Welcome to Somarium, sir...

[voice]

[blazinglunatic]

[His head snaps back in the direction of his Dreamberry, eyes narrowing when he sees the name Kotetsu T. Kaburagi on the screen. That Hero is here? That destructive, bumbling Hero is here? He is one of the reasons Yuri can't have nice things.]

Mr. Kaburagi, I didn't expect to hear from you. [A beat] You seem to know where we are, would you mind giving me some information on my current whereabouts?

[voice]

Yeah... I bet you didn't expect to actually end up here either.

[More of that delicious, uneasy laughter. At this point, he's about to go off rambling, but he reminds himself that this isn't Bunny, nor one of his actual colleagues, who are all used to his way of speech, his mannerisms. So he tries his best to be concise, to questionable avail.]

Well, we're not in Sternbild. I don't even think we're on the same planet as Sternbild.

[voice]

[Good choice, Kotetsu.

Yuri frowns as soon as the Hero says that they aren't in Sternbild. That much he knew without having to consult another party.]

The last thing I recall was being at my desk with a cup of tea... I have no recollection of anything past that. I was extremely exhausted when I arrived home that night, so I must have fallen asleep.

[Why he was volunteering this information he had no idea.]

Is that all you know about Somarium, Mr. Kaburagi?

[voice]

Don't worry, I think it's the same for everyone! I fell asleep, too.

[And that's his way of trying to reassure the Judge that he's not the only one... not that that's exactly reassuring, though.

But after a lengthy pause, one that's filled with quiet humming, he finally speaks once more.]

Apparently there's no way home. Trust me, I've been here an entire month, I've tried looking.

[voice]

[No way home? What? An entire month? He knew that Kotetsu Kaburagi spouted ridiculous things at times, but this is beyond anything he's heard come from that man's mouth.]

Mr. Kaburagi, I saw you a few days ago. There's no possible way for you to have been here a month.

[voice]

Yeah, I don't know how it works. Time is wonky here.

[And that's his explanation, complete with nonchalance and a shrug that just bleeds into his words.

There are more important things to discuss, after all.]

So you... saw me a few days ago, huh? [WERE THERE FINES INVOLVED??]

[voice]

[He closes his eyes for a moment, having a feeling he would be dealing with this man on a much more frequent basis than he did in Sternbild.

Of course, they had seen each other a few days ago. It was a common occurrence, they saw each other very frequently whether it be in the courtroom, in passing on the streets, or at a social function sponsored by one of the media groups or the Justice Bureau. However, they also saw each other as Hero and vigilante... He couldn't tell the man that they stood face to face as Wild Tiger and Lunatic.]

I am a member of the Justice Bureau... I'm a part of everything that the Heroes do.

[voice]

Right... I keep forgetting that.

[He only ever sees the man as that judge guy that gets mad at him for destroying private propertykeeping the peace. Kotetsu knows that Yuri does more than that, it's just that his most significant memories of him are all relatively unpleasant.]

Oh! You said you needed clothes? I can show you around, if you'd like.

[voice]

[blazinglunatic]

[Yuri has no desire to meet Kotetsu Kaburagi anywhere besides the courtroom or the Justice Bureau. None. Nada. Absolutely zero... However, he already feels, before it has even begun, that this will be a losing battle.]

I've already located a place to purchase a new suit, Mr. Kaburagi. Thank you, though, for your offer. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

[He's still sitting in the alley away from the view of any passersby.]

[voice]

[He believes it, of course. He nods in understanding, but is soon to think better of it. He think the judge is refusing solely based on politeness. It wouldn't be a problem, he has to make that clear.]

I see. There's more around than just clothing stores, though! Like that weird floating mountain.

[Cue rambling... he's excitable, he can't help it.]

Oh, and you'll need to find a place to live. There are so many places, but I just chose the first one I walked into. It was a great choice, too! I can help you with that, at least.

[voice]

[Floating Mountain...? He'll have to look into this on his own time, without Kotetsu's help.]

Again, I appreciate your offer, but that's really not necessary. I'm sure I can find a place to live by myself... I wouldn't want to bother you.

[In other words, "Leave me alone, Mr. Kaburagi."]

[voice]

[Refusing his help is futile...]

You wouldn't be bothering me. It's not like I'd be going out of my way or anything.

[But a question has been nagging at him. Why would the Judge need new clothing, anyway?]

Where are you right now? You didn't wake up in a puddle or something, did you? I can see why you'd need new clothes if that were the case...

[voice]

[No, really, Kotetsu. He doesn't want your help.]

You're being far too kind, Mr. Kaburagi, but I can handle matters on my own. I'm sure you've plenty to do and I wouldn't want to take time away from your schedule. A Hero's must always be ready to work at a moment's notice, after all.

[A small, fairly frustrated sigh. He's not telling you where he is, Kotetsu.]

Thankfully, I didn't wake up in a puddle, but I was not prepared to be in public. I always try to look my best and I would hate for anybody to see me any other way.

[voice]

[He's just trying to be helpful, rude. If this were video, he'd be pouting up a storm right now.]

Normally I'd agree with that, but the communicators don't work here so...

[Nope, he totally hasn't been taking the matter of being a Hero into his own hands, not at all.]

I see. [Except he doesn't.] Well, the offer still stands! [And then a pause, before:] Oh, was there anything else you wanted to know? I might have answers.

[voice]

[blazinglunatic]

You think that your job as a Hero has stopped just because your communicator doesn't work in Somarium? [A pause] That's not like you who always goes the extra mile to keep somebody safe regardless of whether or not it will result in the destruction of public property.

[And he wonders if Kotetsu has been just as destructive in Somarium as he was in Sternbild...]

I think most of my questions have been answered. All that remains is finding myself a change of clothes for the time being and locating both the courthouse and somewhere I can live.
