In my humble opinion (not that you asked!) ;-)
You need to turn all that attention and love and devotion you give effortlessly to others and apply it to Rick. It's pretty damn hard, but once you do you realize that it starts happening more quickly and isn't as selfish as it seems.
This entry was incredibly open and honest - that's a start. You have friends surrounding you that will be there for you - help you - hug you and do whatever it is that you're moved to job - personally and professionally.
While I can't do it in person (yet) I send you love and warm **HUGS**
Oh and P.S. What'd you think of Portland? They say it's very similar to Denver.

I'm feeling a lot better, maybe because I've been away from work for awhile, or maybe because tlaking about it has made me think about a lot of changes I want to make. Whatever the reason I'm ready to take it all on...
Portland is really beautiful, very green, very lefty feeling and diverse. I would love to go back and spend some social time...

I'm here with your sis in NYC now, and having a good time (well, when we're done our meetings and having drinks at least!) Lots of nostalgia about past adventures...
