Corset is sewn and awaiting hardware ordered yesterday.

Necklace just finished, tomorrow I'll put a dark tarnish on it to look more like the real thing.

Love, love the chain mail necklace!
I had friends, all male, who spend the off season 'knitting' new mail with bags of ickle steel links. And a full set weighs a ton when it's on your lap, but is surprisingly light when you wear it.

FF who has loadsa costuming and re-enactment chums, oh yeah.

I was *so* in the chain-knitting groove when I finished it and showed it to Tim. I threatened him with a chainmail shirt. :D

I've got two other (English) Civil War/Wenching corsets but I don't know if I will have room in the packing to schlepp them across the Atlantic. And the wenching one is very crude. In more ways than one...
