It's an unspoken rule of female friendship that if one of your friends likes a guy, and has so for many months and you know this, that you do not drag them off into a dark corners and speak to them exclusively for 8 hours, making them buy you drinks and talk about you behind your back with them.

Man, these last 5 weeks of semester are going to kill me. I still haven't quite escaped the winter holiday mode (that was, like, 10 weeks ago), and thus can't be assed to do any of my work! Well, I can now successfully cross 'karma' off the list of Things I Still Believe In.
That list is getting really quite threadbare, I can tell you now.

I'm soooooo excited...I just got tickets to see Bloc Party in November!! It's going to be awesome, I've missed out on so many to-die-for concerts this year because I haven't been on the ball about when tickets are sold, etc. But this time I'm IN! Woo! I love these guys so much...and pretty sure I'm going to cry if they play 'I Still Remember'.Eeee

I had my first proper shift at the chocolateria tonight - yes, a chocolate cafe, it could not be more appropriate! - from 5 til 1am. 8 long hours of being on my feet with no food breaks and a constant stream of customers was made completely worthwhile when into the shop walks...

O-week this week! I'm so excited, it won't have the awkwardness of Sem1's O-week but there's still heaps of new people to meet. Yays. I cant wait for Wednesday night in particular, the Rocks pub crawl, the bars there are so fun. What the f...? My hip pocket just got hit up $38.50 for a hair trim! I'm talking, half a centimetre off the ends and a bit of thinning throughout the rest of it. This is ridiculous. I can't wait to get my tax return, the whole uni student money situation is getting dire. My dream Sex & the City lifestyle has now become HECS and the City...heh.
