I am going to Vanderbilt in the fall. It took a lot to write that one sentence, but yeah, I'll be going there. It came down to Iowa and Vanderbilt and while I liked both places about the same, I think Vanderbilt is going to challenge and push me harder and make me an all around better person. Last night was the SPAD sponsored poetry slam at Cafe Diem. Poems were read, laughter was shared, music was played and all was good. I shared this special livejournal inspired poem. So today I did a college visit of the University of Iowa and well, I liked it. The plan was that I'd visit Iowa then feel only so so about it so choosing Vanderbilt would be an easy choice, but I actually like the University of Iowa. With the resurgence of Eric Foley (albeit just 1 post) I figured it'd be a good time to chime in. In the next 2 weeks I have to decide on what college I will attend for the next four years. My visit to Wash U was very enjoyable. I saw Sean; he was reppin' a tye dye t-shirt and had a pseudo pony tail, definitely not living up to Wash U's "most preppiest" label. school started
so school I guess is in full swing. Nice thing about my schedule is after lunch I pretty much get to zone out until CC. All I have is AP English and Calc II. This year is going to be fantastically awesome in terms of fun level but also incredibly weird. I'm applying to 7 or 8 colleges and they're all fairly prestigious except for my backup.
