You said you wanted feedback, so here's my thought:

For the calf roper - I like the throwing the lasso at the camera idea, but the spinning it around himself thing evokes the idea of a child playing with toys. I'm not sure why, maybe somewhere down the road I saw a little kid do that, but that's what I get from it anyway.
Everything else that I understand and can picture (I have never seen Jaws, so I don't really know what the 'Jaws angle' is) I think is good.

So 'Jaws Angle' = right at water line, surface of the table looking up/forward.
