Lately I've been watching the news... mostly MSNBC... I feel sorry for Michael Jackson, yet stupid for acknowledging the fact I care about the news, although I watch about eight hours of it a day. I wrote a happy poem today. When I read it, it makes me smile. I like things that make me smile, yet tell the truth about something particular.

The structure of the poem is old fashioned, three lines each stanza, which is rarely used today.

When I was sitting behind the bush with the sharp leaves I used to cut myself with. I would press the cut against my best friends open wound. We would from then on claim we were brother and sister. This week was almost wonderful, but the grand end was lost abruptly. Cheryl and I were supposed to be viewing a few movies, but instead I was stuck alone watching them because last night she was grounded, without me knowing before I decided to rent the movies.
