A long time Denver institution for those of us that like to work with leather is closing its doors for good. After more than 50 years in business Jerry's Leathers on South Broadway is closing. I’m so angry right now I need to put this down. I had a beautiful stone gargoyle that was a gift from my parents almost 10 years ago. I hand painted him and christened him “Herbert”. Well..not that we went out all that much anyways, but since it looks like the smoking ban will be going into effect we say a fond goodbye to those in the scene who we consider friends. Ever get that feeling of being totally helpless? I have some special friends who have hit a really rough patch ( loss of car, job ect) not to mention the stress this has put on their relationship and I can't do ANYTHING to help them out.
